For years, the Doddington Scarecrows competition has produced some amazing and creative entries.
Each one built to represent a person related back to our Carnival Theme, and this year being no different!
We're thrilled to announce the theme for the 2025 Doddington Village Sports & Carnival is:
All you need to do, is build a scarecrow and display it for the village to see.
The entries are judged and the winner is announced on Carnival Day.
If you want advice on where/how to get started, just drop us a line and we'll do our best to help.
The next Scarecrows Entry Deadline is on the 27 June 2025!
27 June - Entry Deadline
30 June - Judging commences
05 July - Winner Announced
For the first time, we are introducing a CASH PRIZE for the Scarecrow entries!
1st Prize is £100
2nd Prize is £50
3rd Prize is £25
Prizes will be awarded on Carnival Day.
We're very sorry but the entry forms are not quite ready yet - check back here again soon!
But don't stop your Scarecrow planning and building!!
